About The Position

We’re looking for a Catering Sales Manager who thrives on connection, creativity, and conversion — someone who can sell the vision and bring it to life, delivering high-touch service that keeps clients coming back for more. As Catering Sales Manager, you’ll drive revenue by booking and executing non-room block events — from social galas to high-level business luncheons. You’ll lead the charge from first contact to final thank-you, handling everything from contracts to on-site support with the perfect balance of hustle and hospitality.

Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of experience in catering or event sales (luxury/lifestyle hotel experience preferred)
  • Know how to manage multiple events and timelines with grace and grit
  • Are detail-obsessed, client-focused, and passionate about hospitality excellence
  • Communicate with polish and professionalism — in person, by phone, and via email
  • Are flexible with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Have experience with hotel sales systems like Delphi or Marriott CI/TY (a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Proactively solicit, negotiate, and book events through outbound sales, site tours, and referrals
  • Manage all event details — including menus, setup, A/V, timelines, and billing — with precision
  • Create and distribute detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to internal departments
  • Serve as the main point of contact before, during, and after events to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Collaborate with banquet and culinary teams to ensure flawless service execution
  • Track revenue, leads, and forecasting in CRM (Delphi/FDC)
  • Attend industry events, build community relationships, and rep the Hard Rock brand with style
  • Follow up post-event to ensure client satisfaction and capture repeat business
