About The Position

We are seeking a talented and experienced Catering Manager to join our team. As a Catering Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing catering events, ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction and successful event execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Event Planning, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in catering or event management is required, with a strong track record of successfully executing a variety of events.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively.
  • Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs, preferences, and budget constraints, and assist in the creation of tailored event proposals.
  • Work with the culinary team to design and customize menus that meet the client's requirements and align with the restaurant's offerings.
  • Oversee all aspects of catering events, including staffing, logistics, equipment rentals, and vendor coordination.
  • Maintain clear and prompt communication with clients to confirm event details, address concerns, and provide updates throughout the planning process.
  • Create and manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability while minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
  • Lead catering events, ensuring that all elements are executed seamlessly, and guests receive exceptional service.
  • Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards to ensure consistency and adherence to restaurant policies.
