About The Position

Overview We are seeking a talented and experienced Catering Manager to join our team. As a Catering Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing catering events, ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction and successful event execution. Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs, preferences, and budget constraints, and assist in the creation of tailored event proposals. Work with the culinary team to design and customize menus that meet the client's requirements and align with the restaurant's offerings. Oversee all aspects of catering events, including staffing, logistics, equipment rentals, and vendor coordination. Maintain clear and prompt communication with clients to confirm event details, address concerns, and provide updates throughout the planning process. Create and manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability while minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency. Lead catering events, ensuring that all elements are executed seamlessly, and guests receive exceptional service. Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards to ensure consistency and adherence to restaurant policies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Event Planning, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in catering or event management is required, with a strong track record of successfully executing a variety of events. Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively. Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office applications. Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations with professionalism. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
