The Catering Manager 2 oversees the full scope of catering operations, ensuring flawless execution from planning through event completion. Requirements

Experience delivering high-end catering events.
Strong operational knowledge of catering logistics, safety, and service standards.
Excellent communication and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to lead, motivate, and engage diverse teams in fast-paced environments.
Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Management Experience - 1 year

Demonstrated success driving catering sales and building client relationships.
Strong client references from past catering roles or event partners.

Responsibilities

Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of all catered events—both on and off campus.
Develop event timelines, staffing plans, logistics, and service flow.
Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event evaluations to support continuous improvement.
Ensure full compliance with food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
Maintain accuracy of menu identifiers and allergen information.
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise catering staff.
Provide direct, hands-on leadership during events to uphold high service standards.
Support a positive, accountable team culture focused on guest satisfaction.
Participate in client consultations and planning meetings.
Serve as the on-site point of contact, ensuring seamless communication.
Resolve service challenges professionally, efficiently, and with a customer-first mindset.
Coordinate rentals, linen service, equipment needs, and specialty vendors.
Manage inventory levels, ordering (including alcohol), and equipment readiness.
Control event-related labor, supply, and rental costs to meet financial goals.
