About The Position

At events, they bring a full mobile espresso bar and maintain high standards for espresso, latte art, and customer service.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience as a barista at a specialty coffee shop (not a chain).
Latte art skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm when busy.
Ability to set up and manage a bar independently after being briefed.
Punctual, reliable, and clear communication skills.
Operate with integrity and honesty.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and move equipment efficiently.
Reliable transportation to event locations across Chicagoland.
Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

Set up and break down the mobile espresso bar at events across Chicagoland (corporate offices, private parties, weddings, etc.).
Pull espresso and steam milk on a professional machine under event conditions, ensuring speed, cleanliness, and consistency.
Pour latte art on every drink.
Represent Black Fodder Coffee directly to clients and guests with a warm, confident, and professional demeanor.
Maintain a spotless setup throughout the event.
Coordinate with the event lead on timing, flow, and guest volume.
Handle load-in and load-out of equipment as part of the crew.
