Catering Delivery Driver in Houston, TX (Energy Corridor)
About The Position
Meals Now is a white-glove catering delivery company trusted by national brands. Catering Delivery Drivers act as an extension of the company’s and its restaurant clients’ brands by providing clean, professional, and consistent service. Drivers pick up large catering orders from premium restaurant partners, deliver and set up food at offices, hospitals, schools, and event venues, follow delivery instructions carefully, and take clean setup photos at drop-off. This is catering delivery only; fast food, grocery delivery, and gig stacking are not part of the role. Drivers are independent contractors and are paid per delivery, with additional incentives available.
Requirements
- Have a reliable car, van, or SUV; bikes are not suitable for most markets.
- Have a catering bag and cart, or be willing to purchase them.
- Hold a valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Have a smartphone with internet/data.
- Be available for weekday morning and lunch shifts; the posting lists the hours as 8:00 AM–11:00 PM EST.
- Maintain a professional appearance; gym clothes, hoodies, and slides are not acceptable.
- Be comfortable with setup and light lifting.
- Be dependable, communicative, and take pride in your work.
Responsibilities
- Pick up large catering orders from premium restaurant partners.
- Deliver and set up food in office buildings, hospitals, schools, and event venues.
- Represent Meals Now and restaurant partners with professionalism, punctuality, and courtesy.
- Follow delivery instructions with precision and care.
- Take clean setup photos at drop-off.
