About The Position
Meals Now is a white-glove catering delivery company trusted by national brands. Catering Delivery Drivers serve as an extension of the company’s and its restaurant clients’ brands, providing clean, professional, consistent service. This independent-contractor role focuses exclusively on catering delivery, not fast food, grocery delivery, or combining multiple gig deliveries. Drivers collect large catering orders from restaurant partners, deliver and set up food at locations such as office buildings, hospitals, schools, and event venues, follow delivery instructions carefully, and take clean setup photos at drop-off. Compensation is paid per delivery, with additional incentives for on-time streaks, tier level, and photo quality.
Requirements
- Have a reliable car, van, or SUV; bikes are not suitable for most markets.
- Have a catering bag and cart, or be willing to purchase them.
- Have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Have a smartphone with internet/data access.
- Be available for weekday morning and lunch shifts; the listed time range is 8:00 AM–11:00 PM EST.
- Maintain a professional appearance; gym clothes, hoodies, and slides are not permitted.
- Be comfortable with setup and light lifting.
- Be dependable and communicative, and take pride in the work.
Responsibilities
- Pick up large catering orders from premium restaurant partners.
- Deliver and set up food in office buildings, hospitals, schools, and event venues.
- Represent Meals Now and its restaurant partners professionally, punctually, and courteously.
- Follow delivery instructions with precision and care.
- Take clean setup photos at drop-off.
