About The Position
Meals Now is a white-glove catering delivery company that works with top national brands. Catering delivery drivers serve as an extension of the company’s and its restaurant partners’ brands, providing professional, punctual, and consistent service. Drivers pick up large catering orders, deliver and set up food at offices and other venues, follow instructions carefully, and take clean photos of completed setups. This is an independent contractor role focused exclusively on catering delivery; fast food, grocery delivery, and gig stacking are not part of the work. The role is offered in Santa Clara, California. Compensation is paid per delivery, with additional incentives for on-time streaks, tier level, and photo quality.
Requirements
- Have a reliable car, van, or SUV; bikes are not suitable for most markets.
- Have a catering bag and cart, or be willing to purchase them.
- Have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Have a smartphone with internet/data.
- Be available for weekday morning and lunch shifts, listed as 7 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Maintain a professional appearance; gym clothes, hoodies, and slides are not acceptable.
- Be comfortable with setup and light lifting.
- Be dependable, communicative, and take pride in the work.
Responsibilities
- Pick up large catering orders from premium restaurant partners.
- Deliver and set up food in office buildings, hospitals, schools, and event venues.
- Represent Meals Now and restaurant partners professionally, punctually, and courteously.
- Follow delivery instructions with precision and care.
- Take clean setup photos at drop-off.
