About The Position

Red Rocks Amphitheatre is seeking a Catering/Banquet Attendant to support event operations in running successful catering orders and events. This role involves event setup, transporting equipment, food, and supplies, serving guests during events, and post-event breakdown and cleanup. The ideal candidate is independent, communicates effectively, and aims to provide a five-star, white-gloved experience. The position offers the possibility of overtime and requires availability for evenings, holidays, and special events. This is an Hourly/Seasonal/Part-Time Employee position.

Requirements

18 years of age or older
TEAM/ServSafe Alcohol Certification (will be trained and certified upon hire if needed)
ServSafe or Food Safety Certification equivalent (will be trained and certified upon hire if needed)
Ability to push a cart that weighs up to 50lbs. through doorways and over carpet
Basic reading, writing and math skills

Responsibilities

Maintaining the standards of operation as required by management
Set food and beverages in buffets according to premium service standards, setting appropriate utensils, sauces etc.
Transport and deliver food & beverage with all vital supplies and equipment
Maintain appearance and cleanliness of food service areas during events
Replenish food and beverage products during picnics
Break down and clean area after the conclusion of the events and return equipment to accurate storage areas
Provide excellent customer service to all guests
Follow safety policies and procedures
Provides excellent guest service, anticipating guests’ needs and ensuring guest satisfaction
Maintains a positive demeanor towards guests, clients, co-workers, etc.
Use all required safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) and annotate when equipment is not operable
Take appropriate measures to ensure the security of client and company assets
Interact with clients, employees, vendors, customers, and guests about business-related activities and attend meetings, as required
Work shifts that are 6 – 10 hours in length in average
