About The Position
Shepherd of Grace is seeking a Catering Assistant to join their Dietary team at the Becker Campus. This part-time role supports the nutritional well-being of individuals by preparing and serving meals with care and compassion. The position offers a variety of generous benefits as part of the Good Shepherd community.
Requirements
- Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work as a team member and resolve problem situations constructively
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in food preparation and serving preferred
- Experience working with seniors preferred
Responsibilities
- Receive tenants’ meal orders and submit them to the kitchen
- Serve food and beverages during scheduled mealtimes
- Transport meals from the main kitchen to campus dining rooms
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas
- Wash and store dishes, utensils, and cooking/serving equipment
- Prepare and package home-delivered meals for community clients
- Update and maintain menu boards for tenants
