About The Position

Auberle has evolved into a premier multi-service agency with programs spanning Workforce Development, Housing, Foster Care, Young Adult Services, and Behavioral Health. Auberle’s mission is to help build strong individuals, families, and communities. In 2019, Ward Home joined the Auberle family and has three programs in our Young Adult Services Department. Auberle provides quality catering services & food services for multiple internal & external events. The program also provides food boxes for those in need as part of our partnership with the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank for our region. The program also partners with the Auberle Employment Institute (work development program) to provide training / work experience for those individuals that are interested in the food service industry. Currently seeking a part-time catering / food service staff for our program. Seeking an individual who has catering / food service experience with the applicable training and skill set. You would be responsible for preparing meals such as breakfast, lunch and dinner for Auberle sites, internal events and external events based on the menus request for these meals & events. You will work alongside other team members to provide the above meals. Need to be available for 25-30 hours per week. Typical hours are Monday-Friday 8:00AM-1:00PM. The hours may vary at times depending on the days and times of events that we provide our services for.
Requirements
- Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances required.
- Valid PA driver’s license, vehicle, registration, and proof of insurance may be required.
- SERV Safe Certification for Food Handlers. Can obtain as part of employment.
