About The Position

NextEra Energy Resources’ Integrated Supply Chain division is seeking a Category Specialist to support Engineering and Construction. The position partners with Engineering, Project Management, and Legal to develop bid packages, evaluate proposals, resolve commercial issues, and support project execution. It supports category management source-to-pay activities and oversees sourcing activities to ensure alignment with category strategies. The specialist meets with business units to collect requirements and feedback and identify category trends, risks, and opportunities, and works with stakeholders on strategy development and in cross-functional meetings. The role is based in Juno Beach, Florida.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Sound business judgment and attention to detail.
• Ability to independently drive cross-functional initiatives.
