About The Position

Reporting to our Senior Director of Category Marketing, you will manage product categories within the staples segment, primarily shelf stable products. You will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans, including strategy development, sales coordination, pricing activities, and project management to support category growth and performance. You will lead cross-functional collaboration and leverage insights to drive innovation and achieve financial objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of related experience, including Foodservice
  • P&L management experience
  • Experience conducting detailed business analysis and developing recommendations
  • Knowledge of Foodservice syndicated data and industry tools
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing projects
  • Understanding of Foodservice marketing programs including promotions and collateral development

Responsibilities

  • Manage profit and loss (P&L) for assigned categories to achieve annual and long-term financial objectives
  • Develop and implement growth strategies to expand category performance and market presence within your assigned portfolio
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams on key initiatives to deliver business objectives
  • Conduct competitive and industry analysis to inform strategic decision making
  • Lead customer-driven category management projects for assigned categories
  • Develop category marketing collateral and promotional programs
  • Generate insights and rationale to support category innovation and new product development
  • Support pricing activities, trade spending, forecasting and analytical efforts
  • Provide support for advertising and promotion management, planning processes and supply chain alignment
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment across category initiatives
