About The Position

The Category Manager will execute category strategy across all Category portfolios. This role guides the NPD process to align with brand direction through the early-stage ideation phase and provides feedback on prioritization of product development projects based on category strategy. The Category Manager will gather and synthesize information from various teams to assess competitive positioning, identify opportunities, and understand market dynamics. They will build optimized and impactful launch plans for new product introductions, recommend budget allocations for marketing spend by category in conjunction with the brand marketing team, and identify opportunities for process improvement and facilitate organizational change initiatives within scope. This role owns the Category P&L and business performance reporting such as in Quarterly Business Reviews, Monthly Business Reviews, IBP Process etc. They will provide financial analysis by category to the channel marketing team for annual quoting and line review process. The Category Manager will communicate strategy with cross-functional teams (sales, brand, product, channel) and act as a point of contact for product launch. They will also lead operational alignment across teams (supply chain, manufacturing, marketing) to ensure product availability and readiness are timely and effective.
