About The Position

The Category Manager will develop and execute category plans supporting Caliber’s financial objectives and operational needs. This role involves leading supplier negotiations for cost improvement, service reliability, and innovation. The Category Manager will conduct supplier performance reviews and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to track results and escalate underperformance. Collaboration with field operations and Finance is key to ensure rebate capture, cost savings, and budget alignment. This position will translate sourcing strategies into actionable processes and systems for the procurement team and will coach and develop direct reports to strengthen procurement capabilities and accountability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive procurement or category management experience.
  • Proven negotiation skills and financial acumen, with understanding of cost structures and rebate models.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and working with senior leadership.
  • Strong leadership and people development abilities within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
