About The Position

Cintas is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Category Manager responsible for developing sourcing strategies to meet the needs of internal customers and stakeholders. This role involves utilizing critical negotiating and competitive bidding skills to achieve cost control and reduction with current and prospective suppliers. The Category Manager will manage supplier contracts, conduct continuous supplier performance evaluations based on business needs and market conditions, analyze category spend to restructure the vendor base for cost savings, and drive innovation for products within assigned categories through continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 2+ years' Supply Chain experience
• 5+ years' sourcing/purchasing experience

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategy to meet the needs of internal customers and stakeholders.
