About The Position

Hankook & Company is seeking a creative, strategic, results-driven, full-time Category / Sales / Social Media Manager (CTMG) to join their growing team in Clarksville, TN. The Category Manager will play a key role in delivering market, customer, and category insights based on sales and market data. Success in this role requires experience as a conceptual thinker who enjoys strategic conversations, as well as the ability to dig deep into data and translate insights into stories. This role also includes social media and content responsibilities, such as creating and managing engaging content, developing social media strategies, monitoring trends, capturing photo/video/graphic content, maintaining brand voice, responding to online inquiries, and tracking performance metrics.

Requirements

  • BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT, MARKETING OR A RELATED FIELD
  • 4-7 years of experience in a category management role
  • A strong knowledge of Category Management practices and tools (Nielsen, Panel Data, JDA space planning)
  • Proven ability to translate data into insights via storytelling that supports the effective management of the business at the category level
  • Able to engage in both strategic and tactical work, and transition between modes of operation easily
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities with an outcome-focused mindset
  • Well-developed written and oral presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate cross-functionally
  • Able to multitask and manage multiple projects effectively
  • Collaborative, team player with a “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to travel to meet with customers

Nice To Haves

  • prior CPG and/or automotive battery experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver category, customer, and brand insights using sales and market data
  • Analyze trends and develop actionable recommendations for business growth
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor sales performance
  • Conduct assortment analysis and plan-o-gram recommendations
  • Evaluate performance of new product launches and key business initiatives
  • Analyze pricing and promotional activity against competitors
  • Support SKU rationalization efforts to maximize portfolio productivity
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Innovation, and Business Analytics teams
  • Partner with customers and data providers to strengthen reporting and market intelligence
  • Create, manage, and publish engaging content across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Develop social media strategies that increase brand visibility, audience engagement, and lead generation
  • Monitor social media trends, analytics, and audience insights to improve performance
  • Capture and create photo, video, and graphic content for marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across all digital channels
  • Respond to online inquiries, comments, and customer interactions professionally and promptly
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support campaigns, promotions, and product launches
  • Track and report social media performance metrics and growth opportunities
