About The Position
The Category Manager delivers strategic procurement operations within the aligned business area and owns the delivery and updating of category strategies that identify future commercial opportunities and direction. The role develops and delivers a portfolio of category strategies and a procurement plan, profiles category-area characteristics, researches supply markets and suppliers, and assesses trends, opportunities, and risks across the category. It plans and manages tender events for goods and services, identifies future requirements through forward planning, leads engagement with internal and external stakeholders, scopes and develops regional and global contractual agreements, and drives supplier and contract relationship management.
Requirements
- Degree standard or equivalent experience.
- Relevant professional qualification (MCIPS).
- Previous experience in similar roles; MCIPS is preferable.

- MCIPS qualification.
Responsibilities
