About The Position

COTY is looking for smart leaders who are fast and passionate. We’re looking for a Category Manager to join the Category Management team working on the Walmart customer account. This strategic role will see you leading development of category initiatives and bringing concepts to action for the Walmart shopper. Reporting to a Sr. Category Manager, you will get to work across multiple aspects of the category business, provide project leadership, and bring to life ideas & concepts that grow category sales & gain market share. The team consists of a Category Director, Senior Manager, Category Manager and Category Analyst working closely together with several departments such as CMI, Trade Marketing & Walmart Account team. Requirements

  • Demonstrated track record of operating with integrity.
  • Proficiency leveraging multiple data sources, i.e. POS Data, Panel Metrics, and Industry Insights to develop category growth initiatives.
  • 2+ years working closely with Walmart merchants to implement the modular tactics.
  • 4 year bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related fields
  • Proficient usage of Microsoft Office, JDA Space Planning, and syndicated data platformsi.e., Scintilla, Nielsen, IRI, Circana, Numerator

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-time modular execution and accuracy.
  • Produce high quality category analytics to identify and realize market trends and insights.
  • Partnering with the customer and category teams, to develop collaborative business solutions that drive category growth and share gain.
  • Create and deliver compelling category story for the customer to leverage.
  • Lead category specific projects, including management of short and long-term strategic goals
  • Responsible for Walmart’s Relay process.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the beauty category and beauty shoppers, while building key relationships and serving as the primary lead for modular execution.
