PMIUS seeks and results-driven Category Manager to lead sourcing and procurement activities across Marketing and Sales Support categories. This role is responsible for category strategy development, supplier management, contract negotiations, cost optimization, and value creation initiatives that support business growth. The successful candidate will partner closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to drive quality, innovation, efficiency, and measurable business results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 8+ years progressive procurement or strategic sourcing experience.
  • Experience supporting Marketing, Sales Support, or related indirect spend categories.
  • Proven success leading supplier negotiations and managing strategic supplier relationships.
  • Strong analytical, commercial, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Marketing and Sales Support categories.
  • Align procurement initiatives with business priorities and long-term goals.
  • Lead sourcing activities including category assessments, RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements that optimize value, service, innovation, and risk mitigation.
  • Support contract lifecycle management and supplier governance.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to optimize cost, quality, service, compliance, and innovation.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a diverse supplier portfolio aligned with business goals.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Understand business needs and develop procurement solutions that drive efficiency and value.
  • Influence stakeholders through data-driven recommendations and market intelligence.
  • Deliver annual savings and value-generation targets through strategic sourcing and spend optimization.
  • Utilize spend analytics and market benchmarking to uncover new opportunities.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical sourcing standards.
  • Identify and mitigate supply, operational, and contractual risks while maintaining strong service performance.
  • Stay informed on market trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging industry practices.
  • Monitor category and supplier performance through key metrics and KPIs.
