This role will follow a hybrid remote/onsite schedule. Applicants for this role can expect to work on-site from our Ottawa Head Office, on Walkley Road 2 days a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Additional days as needed.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years work experience in an administrative and/or buying/Category Management role.
  • Postsecondary education in business administration or in a related field.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills including experience with Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, Formula Creation, etc.
  • Strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and a common sense approach.
  • Ability to plan and organize several projects at the same time.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum one year of retail experience.
  • Fluently bilingual in English and French.
  • JDA & BI experience.

Responsibilities

  • Address item-level Service Revenue issues and inform stores of next steps.
  • Coordinate and manage resolution with regards to issues received from stores.
  • Resolve product issues with vendors and suppliers when necessary.
  • Update Planograms when necessary.
  • Assist when required in the research, set up and execution of new programs working closely with Stores, multiple internal teams and vendors to roll-out initiatives related to Service Revenue.
  • Support the Category Management team with reporting from BI platform and excel for review purposes.
  • Coordinate the install & renovations of Service Revenue categories in new stores and existing stores.
  • Prepare marketing request, maintain records of marketing projects completed, and coordinate in store marketing events related to service revenue projects.
  • Assist Category Manager/Category Partner team with SKU file and data integrity such as cost and retail updates.
  • Assist Category Manager/Category Partner in the development of store merchandising material to coach and guide stores to optimize their in-store execution.
