Position Summary: The Category Analyst supports strategic accounts by providing analytical insights, reporting, and operational support that drive business performance. This role serves as a key partner to sales, supply chain, customer teams, and cross-functional stakeholders by monitoring business trends, identifying opportunities, and helping execute customer initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This individual will leverage data and reporting to support decision-making, track performance metrics, resolve issues, and ensure successful execution of customer programs and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelors required or equivalent education/experience.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Prepare various analyses of customer performance, track inbound and outbound inventory trends, pricing management, and setting up new and deleted items.
  • Identify root causes related to item setup, pricing, inventory, and code dates
  • New item and assortment catalog management
  • Assist in the development and adoption of business reports to support the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve setup issues, ensure pricing accuracy, and support seasonal asks
  • Maintain cross-functional relationships with various levels and departments in and outside the organization.
  • Support process improvements to reduce shrink and improve product movement
  • Use systems like PowerBI to monitor trends and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
