About The Position

A & Associates is seeking a certified paraprofessional for a one-on-one student support assignment at Hopewell Middle School in Fulton County Schools. The work involves assisting students and staff according to assigned responsibilities. Fulton County Schools identifies the opening as Categorical Paraprofessional – Behavior. Behavior experience or a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential is a plus, but an RBT credential does not replace the required active paraprofessional certificate. The assignment is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in a classroom environment. It is a contract assignment subject to the school’s staffing needs and may end if the school fills the position directly. Fulton County Schools states that direct hiring ends the first week of March; if the position remains unfilled then, the contractor will remain for the rest of the school year. Applicants must provide a current résumé and active paraprofessional certificate, be available for fingerprinting, and be able to begin after required onboarding. Fulton County Schools personnel will communicate official start dates. A & Associates provides staffing, security, and insurance services and states that it offers equal employment opportunities without discrimination or harassment based on protected characteristics.
