Starting Pay Rate of $16.50/hour
Available Shift
7am - 7pm, Friday - Sunday

Requirements

• Grade 10 or equivalent education; up to and including 3 months of related training or experience
• Ability to add and subtract four-digit numbers
• Basic knowledge of machinery or processes required
• May be required to stop machines, shut off glue lines, and clear jammed cartons
• Must be able to read, write, and understand basic English
• Able to communicate effectively, interact positively with coworkers and management, and maintain professionalism under pressure
• Must follow well-defined guidelines with limited options for deviation and make decisions regarding product quality and acceptability

Responsibilities

• Feeds unglued cartons into high-speed gluing machines
• Packs sleeves of glued cartons into cases; may be required to bag sleeves or place in packing trays prior to casing
• Inspects cartons for defects and notifies operator or supervisor when defects are found
• Completes quality paperwork
• Follows LOTO and alternative LOTO procedures
• Keeps work area clean
• Feeds a maximum of 21 lanes; if catching lines, the feeder will feed 18 and catch 1
• Performs other related duties as assigned to support operational success
