About The Position

Novolex is a leading manufacturer of food, beverage, and specialty packaging that supports multiple industries including foodservice, restaurant delivery and carryout, food processing, grocery and retail, and industrial sectors. Novolex manufacturing and sourcing expertise spans a diverse range of substrates including resin, paper, molded fiber, aluminum and more, providing customers a broad array of stock and customized solutions with 120 product categories, 250 brands and over 39,000 SKUs. A successful feeder packer will be responsible for preparing materials for processing, feed them into machinery, inspect finished products for quality, and package the products for shipments. This role is fast paced and requires attention to detail and efficiency.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably six months experience in a manufacturing environment or other physical labor job is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and pack product per customer specification using safe work practices
  • Identify and communicate product quality deviations; assist with resolution
  • Read, understand, and correctly complete daily paperwork
  • Read & understand Production Orders
  • Assist the Operator with set-up and/or change over activities as directed
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Complete assigned duties in compliance with company policies & procedures
  • Actively engage in safety programs
  • Assist other team members as needed
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds as required
