About The Position

Paradigm is seeking a full-time Catastrophic Nurse Case Manager to cover the Omaha, NE, area. This is a hybrid position requiring regular local travel (80% of the time) for in-person patient appointments. The role involves the medical case management of work-related injuries, including assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals. The case manager will collaborate with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees, closely monitoring the progress of injured workers and reporting results.

Requirements

  • Current, unencumbered compact Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska required
  • Willingness to obtain Illinois RN required
  • Skills required for success: organization and timeline adherence skills, PC and technology skills, communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
  • Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight
  • Skilled at patient education
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving history
  • Must be located in the Omaha, NE, area
  • Must be willing to travel

Nice To Haves

  • Illinois RN preferred
  • Experience in case management of workers comp cases strongly preferred
  • Recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC) strongly preferred (must obtain within two years of hire date)

Responsibilities
