About The Position

Symbiotic Services is seeking a Catalyst Production Engineer to support and optimize manufacturing operations within an advanced materials environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production of catalyst technologies while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in heterogeneous catalyst manufacturing (lab to production)
• Experience with alumina supports (extrudates, tablets, or spheres)
• Experience with base metal and/or precision metal impregnation technologies
• Must be located within commuting distance of the facility or willing to relocate
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available)

Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize manufacturing unit operations
• Troubleshoot production issues and lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance yield, throughput, and quality
• Collaborate with laboratory teams to validate product specifications
• Support development and implementation of new equipment, procedures, and systems to improve safety and reliability
• Partner with cross-functional teams including product engineering, business development, and customer support
• Develop and maintain work instructions, SOPs, batching sheets, and related documentation for production staff
