About The Position
Acclaro is seeking native Catalan speakers with strong English comprehension to join our global linguistic community as Freelance Linguistic Testers. No prior testing experience is required—we provide full training! If you own a modern Mac and have a sharp eye for detail, this is your opportunity to work on cutting-edge IT and AI projects. The role involves performing Linguistic QA, Software & UI Testing, and Bug Reporting for English to Catalan content within the Information Technology, Software, and AI domains.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in written and spoken Catalan.
- Professional-level English comprehension and written communication skills.
- Active access to a Mac computer equipped with an Apple Silicon M-series chip (M1, M2, M3, M4, or newer).
- A strong, intuitive grasp of modern Pakistani cultural nuances, localized language trends, and regional idiomatic expressions.
- Comfort navigating new software interfaces, adhering to detailed testing guidelines, and reporting technical/linguistic bugs clearly in English.
- A reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace suitable for remote, independent contract work.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to consistently identify minor grammatical, formatting, and user-interface (UI) errors.
- Willingness and ability to complete the mandatory onboarding training.
Responsibilities
- Review and refine AI-generated and localized Catalan content to ensure natural flow and cultural accuracy.
- Navigate applications to identify layout issues, truncated text, and functional bugs in the Catalan interface.
- Document and report linguistic and technical errors clearly in English using our testing guidelines.
