Cat Sitter
About The Position
The Comforted Kitty is seeking independent cat sitters (1099 independent contractors) for in-home visits within the Orlando, FL Metro Area. This role offers complete job flexibility, allowing sitters to set their own availability and service area, with clients matched accordingly. Sitters will provide various levels of cat care, including drop-ins, extended daytime visits, overnights, and live-in care, following detailed instructions for feeding, litter cleaning, socialization, and medication administration. Maintaining cleanliness and respecting client homes are essential. Sitters are expected to send updates with notes and photos after each visit.
Requirements
- 18+ with hands-on cat care experience
- Smartphone with reliable internet & camera
- Strong communication and professionalism
- Experienced with cat care, especially in a pet sitting capacity
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Strong written communication
- Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes
- Availability (especially holidays/travel periods)
Nice To Haves
- Medication experience (oral, injections, fluids)
- Holiday & weekend availability
Responsibilities
