The Comforted Kitty is seeking reliable, responsible cat lovers for a part-time, independent contractor position providing in-home cat sitting visits in the Altamonte Springs, FL area. Requirements
- Experience with cat care, particularly in a pet sitting capacity
- Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfort working independently in clients' homes
- Smartphone with reliable internet and camera
- Experience administering medication (oral, injections, fluids)
- Availability on weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
- Feeding cats and refreshing water
- Cleaning litter boxes
- Providing playtime, affection, or companionship tailored to each cat's personality
- Sending visit updates and photos via an app
- Following client-specific care instructions
- Collecting mail or packages
- Adjusting lights, blinds, or managing trash/recycling as requested
- Administering medication if within the sitter's experience and comfort level
