About The Position
We are seeking a skilled CAT Scan Technologist (CT) to perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and positioning patients, operating CT equipment safely, reviewing images for quality, explaining procedures to patients, and adhering to safety standards.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree – required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and patient positioning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols.
- Prepare and position patients properly for diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently.
- Review images for quality and ensure appropriate diagnostic results.
- Explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance throughout the imaging process.
- Follow radiation safety and infection-control standards.
