About The Position

This role involves reviewing and analyzing insurance policies to confirm coverage, investigating, evaluating, and adjusting claims. The trainee will also assist Casualty Claims Representatives with various types of claims, including physical damage, total loss, med pay, and bodily injury. A key aspect of the role is ensuring high customer satisfaction through professionalism, integrity, fairness, and promptness. The position requires maintaining satisfactory productivity levels and claims handling cycle times, as well as continuous job skill development through training. Maintaining a high degree of confidentiality is also essential.

Requirements

• Must have a 4-year college degree; or 2+ years of college and 1+ years of work experience in property and casualty insurance experience.
• The employee is expected to begin the introduction to INS Series within 1 year of hiring date.
• Must be able to read, analyze and interpret procedures, regulations, instructions, manuals and other documents as required.
• Excellent telephone, public relations and oral/written communication skills are required.
• Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
• Must possess basic skills and be proficient or have demonstrated aptitude with computers including experience with Excel, Word, and web-based systems.
