About The Position
DMA Claims is seeking a remote Casualty Adjuster to handle third-party personal and commercial auto, and commercial general liability bodily injury claims. The primary focus of this role is to manage claims efficiently towards resolution and closure. Requirements
- Active Adjuster’s License (home state or designated home state if required)
- Minimum 2+ years handling personal lines injury claims
- Minimum 2+ years handling commercial lines injury claims
- Strong understanding of policy language, coverages, and exclusions
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation (claimants + plaintiff attorneys)
- Demonstrated skills in statement taking
- Demonstrated skills in driving claims to resolution
- Proficiency with claims systems and Microsoft Word/Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Typing speed 40+ WPM
- Ability to work independently in a structured remote environment
- Pass background check
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree
- Texas Adjuster License
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Experience with specialized claims handling models (auto liability, BI, litigation, SIU, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Investigate and manage casualty claims end-to-end
- Proactively gather information and advance files toward resolution
- Apply comparative negligence principles
- Deliver strong customer service throughout the claim lifecycle
