About The Position
Casual Skate Patrol opportunities are available at the Kerry Park Recreation Centre within the South Cowichan Recreation Division of the Community Services Department at the Cowichan Valley Regional District. Reporting to the Recreation Centre Manager, and supervised by recreation programming staff, Skate Patrol assist with developing, planning, and implementing a wide variety of activities including public skates, birthday parties, programs and special events.
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 14 years old
- A valid Basic First Aid Certificate is required.
Nice To Haves
- Preference given to candidates who are 15 or older.
- A minimum of 2 years of skating experience is preferred.
- Experience with sharpening skates, performing inventory and overseeing a float would be considered assets.

- Assist with developing, planning, and implementing a wide variety of activities including public skates, birthday parties, programs and special events.
