The Walsh University Campus Police Department is a comprehensive full-service police department that exists to serve and protect our students, faculty, staff and guests. Our mission is to provide a safe and secure living and learning environment by actively partnering with the campus community. As such, we take a proactive and progressive approach to campus policing, utilizing a community policing model in dedication to the protection of life and property; the preservation of peace, order and safety; the enforcement of local, state, and federal laws as well as university policies and procedures. The department recognizes that learning occurs both in and outside of the classroom and is committed to supporting student's academic and co-curricular experience by helping them make good decisions about the activities they engage. We understand the importance of developing positive relationships with students so that we can effectively serve, mentor and educate them. The casual Campus Police Officer-midnights position provides public safety, law enforcement and security services for all Walsh University owned and operated property. The position requires officers to uphold a service-oriented attitude, flexibility, ability to exercise discretion, and a strong moral and ethical character.
