About The Position

WAF - Crookston is hiring a dependable, hardworking employee for its Casting Department on the 1st shift. The role involves operating shaker equipment to separate castings from sand and molds, removing sand and debris, assisting with decore booth operations and other casting activities, and inspecting initial castings for quality. The employee helps maintain a clean and organized work area, follows safety procedures, and works closely with the team. This is physical work in a foundry environment.

• Regularly talk and hear; frequently stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms; occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; infrequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
