About The Position

This position is responsible for a variety of administrative and operational tasks within the Casino Operations department. The role involves managing payroll-related duties, tracking attendance, processing personnel actions, maintaining evaluation records, managing uniform orders, handling toke sheets, filing and scanning various documents, processing work orders, and ensuring clear communication with management and other departments. Maintaining a high level of confidentiality is crucial due to access to sensitive crewmember information.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of Treasure Bay Policy and Slot Department Standards of Operation.
  • Excellent organizational skills and computer knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Self-motivated and fast learner.
  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Mississippi Gaming License REQUIRED.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in secretarial and administrative support a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Compare timesheets to actual Kronos timeclock entries and edit as needed, communicating with managers regarding any questions.
  • Run reports specific to departmental needs for weekly, biweekly, and quarterly hours, and keep track of timesheets.
  • Input tardies, callouts, and leave earlies, and produce action notices for crewmembers whose attendance balance dictates paperwork.
  • Process all PANS related to promotions, new hires, transfers, and terms, utilizing provided checklists and communicating with HR, Payroll, and IT.
  • Maintain an updated evaluation spreadsheet for each department, send out reminders for due evaluations, and process evaluations and PANS.
  • Keep track of and order uniforms.
  • Process toke hours for dealers when payroll is reviewed and update toke book and rates accordingly.
  • File and/or send various departmental paperwork to other departments, ensuring all paperwork is scanned and routed as designed, and updating crewmember files.
  • Maintain professional communication via telephone and email, keeping managers and directors aware of situations and following up as needed.
  • Process and track work orders for the facilities department.
  • Report for duty as outlined in the schedule.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality as expected of a crewmember with access to all crewmember records.
  • Perform other tasks as requested by management.
