About The Position

Responsible for providing cleaning services in assigned casino areas. This role involves cleaning all assigned public casino areas, restrooms, and offices throughout the entire casino complex on a continual basis. The position requires ensuring that all cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment are used per manufacturer's instructions, and maintaining all work areas to be free of safety violations. The employee must report any hazardous conditions or broken equipment immediately to management and comply with established safety precautions. Additionally, the role involves interacting with guests and fellow employees in a professional and courteous manner, and promoting an atmosphere of fun, mutual respect, dignity, and integrity within the department.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must successfully complete screening for essential job functions.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.) preferred.
  • Three to six months housekeeping experience preferred.
  • This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.
