About The Position

At Fallsview Casino Resort, the Casino Host is the primary contact for high-valued players, acting as the face of the casino for these guests. The role involves providing a VIP level of treatment to ensure Niagara Casinos becomes their preferred choice. This position is for a Full Time Salaried role with a target salary range of $52,560.00 to $64,120.00 per annum. The application deadline is June 21, 2026. Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years progressive experience in a casino gaming environment
  • Table Games rules and protocol
  • General knowledge of our Slot offerings
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License Class “G” without any limitations or restrictions
  • Smart Serve Certification
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities to effectively prioritize competing tasks while maintaining remarkable guest service
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly telephone manner and a strict attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Knowledge of Casino operations, promotions, programs, and the Niagara region
  • Proficient keyboard and computer skills to utilize all relevant systems including Microsoft Office, Gaming Analytics, CMP and LMS

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining business relationships with new and existing high-end customers
  • Utilizing Gaming Analytics to resource existing high-end players
  • Making outbound calls to develop a host player book
  • Promoting various property amenities including promotions, offers, hotel, dining, off-site events, and unique Niagara Casino experiences
  • Ensuring success and active involvement in VIP special events such as slot and table tournaments, dinner parties, events, and concerts
  • Issuing complimentaries using established comp guidelines
  • Maintaining calmness and professionalism in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Evaluating customer needs and addressing concerns or complaints and effectively resolving them
  • Working safely and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation
  • Maintaining strong knowledge and understanding of casino comping policies, casino layout, and available services
  • Working independently and as part of a team that supports and helps one another
  • Supporting a 24/7 operation
