About The Position

Provides administrative services to the Player Development Manager and Casino Host. Responsible for generating reports from the Patron Management system and reports based on information provided by the Director of Marketing. Supervises Casino Hosts and works closely with the Player Development Manager and Casino Hosts in planning special events or activities in the VIP Lounge. Oversees all activities in the VIP Lounge, meets and greets guests, and ensures a high level of customer service is maintained. Must be knowledgeable of casino games, marketing promotions, and programs, as well as hotel services and amenities. Provides comps to casino guests according to approved internal controls. Performs duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Player Development Manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must possess strong customer service skills.
  • Must be proficient in standard office procedures and equipment.
  • Excellent verbal skills, ability to be creative and innovative in guest satisfaction.
  • Analytical skills and good computer skills necessary.
  • Title 31 Training.
  • Knowledgeable in Word, Excel and Windows.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision is a must.
  • Problem solving skills are much needed to clearly present ideas and findings to Supervisor and other departments.
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft PC.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
  • Must be able to stand, move, and work throughout the office area and property, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs, and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.
  • Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years Casino Host experience in the gaming industry preferred but not required.
  • Requires Food and Beverage Handling Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of guest invitation lists for special events.
  • Convey terms of the Player’s Club Program and explain qualification requirements to prospective gaming guests.
  • Identify and initiate relationships with new guests for possible enrollment into the Player’s Club.
  • Assist and make reservations for guests for on and off property outlets, including booking and suggesting dining and shows.
  • Supervise Casino Hosts and oversee all activities in the VIP Lounge.
  • Schedule weekly shifts for active employees in the VIP Lounge.
  • Work closely with the Player Development Manager and Casino Hosts with coded players in planning special events or activities in the VIP Lounge.
  • Report weekly and monthly on the VIP Lounge.
  • Book golf reservations.
  • Restock VIP Lounge amenities.
  • Identify all pertinent information of Black Platinum card holders (e.g., Birthday, Anniversary, Spouses Name, Taste in Food, Choice of Cigarette).
  • Oversee and greet active player(s) on the floor.
  • Review all player arrivals through the Hotel Reservation System to ensure room readiness and amenities.
  • Distribute information for casino events.
  • Track daily check-in volume.
  • Suggest activities for guest entertainment.
  • Request amenities from Room Service.
  • Perform all duties deemed necessary for the success of the department.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned (non-gaming functions and issues gaming license permitting).
