About The Position

As the Gift Shop Cashier, you will greet customers and assist them in locating items. This role is responsible for stocking and pricing items, arranging displays, maintaining cleanliness, answering customer inquiries, and managing monetary exchanges. The position requires accuracy in record-keeping and adherence to security protocols.

Requirements

• Prior retail cashier experience
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services (including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction and security, verification, and accuracy)
• Apply basic math (arithmetic, ratios, proportions or conversions)
• Apply oral or written communication techniques

Responsibilities

• Stock and price items and arrange displays.
• Ring up customers and verify identification when needed.
• Keep the gift shop clean and storage areas well-maintained and secure.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding general gaming location information, procedures, and payouts.
• Use computers to enter, access, or retrieve data.
• Keep accurate records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms, and transaction reconciliations.
• Maintain security according to rules.
• Perform regular inventories of merchandise and re-order as approved.
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
