The Casino Cleaner will build guest relations by engaging with customers, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back. Superior guest service is expected, positively affecting interactions with guests and employees, with the ability to handle difficult guests and work effectively and courteously with colleagues. The primary duties include cleaning slot machines, floors, windows, walls, stairs, and elevators in both front and back of house areas. This includes vacuuming floors, cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking restrooms, and mopping floors around bars, restrooms, and entrances. The role also involves removing trash and debris from machines, floors, and trash cans, and emptying dumpsters. Safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment according to manufacturer instructions is mandatory. Additionally, the position requires answering calls promptly and professionally, participating in routine drills, and having complete knowledge of casino events and promotions to assist as needed. Maintaining a clean and orderly work area, adhering to ethical policies, and handling routine customer complaints and incidents with appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring supervisory attention are key responsibilities. The role requires a flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, with potential for shift changes. Assisting in maintaining a spotless casino by disposing of guest litter and performing other assigned duties are also part of the role.
