The Casino Cleaner will build guest relations throughout every shift by engaging with customers, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back. The position demands superior guest service, a positive impact on interactions with guests and employees, and the ability to handle difficult guests and work effectively with colleagues. Responsibilities include cleaning all slot machines, floors, windows, walls, stairs, and elevators in both front and back of house areas. This also includes vacuuming all floors, cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking restrooms, and mopping floors around bars, restrooms, and entrances. The role requires removing trash and debris from machines, floors, and trash cans, and emptying dumpsters. Safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment according to manufacturer instructions is essential. The position also involves answering calls professionally, participating in drills, having complete knowledge of casino events and promotions, and keeping the work area clean and orderly. Ethical adherence to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies is expected, along with empowering others to do the same. Handling routine customer complaints and incidents with appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring supervisory attention, while maintaining positive guest relationships, is key. The role requires a flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, with potential for shift changes. Assisting in maintaining a spotless casino by disposing of items left by guests and performing other assigned duties are also part of the role.
