About The Position

The Casino Chip Attendant is responsible for providing excellent guest service, assisting dealers, retrieving and delivering equipment and chips, notifying supervisors of empty seats, and adhering to company policies and procedures. This role also requires knowledge of BSA/AML policies and reporting suspicious activity. The attendant must be able to work full-time, including overtime, and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with all games, knowledge of Casino gaming rules and operations, as well as departmental policy and procedures.
  • Effective communication skills working with customers and employees of all levels.
  • Ethical decision-making ability.
  • Ability to speak, read, and understand English.
  • Punctuality and good attendance.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and make educated ethical decisions.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to prepare detailed professional correspondence, memoranda, policies, procedures, and regulations related to the employee’s duties.
  • General knowledge of Windows-based computer operating systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.
  • Assist all dealers in starting or breaking games in the Poker or California sections.
  • Retrieve and deliver equipment or chips to dealers when needed and assist with cashing out customers upon request.
  • Notify Floor Attendant/Supervisor of any empty seats at tables in the poker section.
  • Understand and follow Company and departmental policy and procedure.
  • Work full-time during tournament season and any overtime as required, with or without notice.
  • Have knowledge of and comply with BSA/AML policies and procedure.
  • Notify Supervisor or Shift manager of any suspicious or unusual activity.
  • Perform all other work-related duties as assigned by the Casino Management.
