About The Position

The Casino Associate role provides customer service and operational support within the truck stop's gaming area. This involves providing guests with a friendly and welcoming environment, monitoring gaming activities and equipment, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, handling cash transactions, and ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and company policies. The position is located at Livonia Travel Plaza, which is open 24-hours a day, Monday through Sunday. Both Part-Time and Full-Time schedules are available, with compensation on an hourly basis.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old
Must have or be able to obtain a tech 1 and liquor license
Basic math, cash-handling, and problem solving skills
Clear background check with no felonies or misdemeanors related to theft or gaming violations
Available to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays
Applicable candidates will be required to submit authorization and successfully complete Pre-Employment Screening: Criminal Background Investigation and Drug and Alcohol Test.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous customer service, cashier, retail, or casino experience preferred

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide friendly and welcoming customer service
Assist guests with gaming machines, player rewards, and general questions
Respond to customer questions, concerns, and minor disputes professionally
Handle cash transactions accurately, including payouts, ticket redemption, and register balancing
Verify age and identification in accordance with gaming laws
Restock supplies and maintain cleanliness of the gaming area and customer spaces
Follow company policies, gaming regulations, and safety procedures
Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
