This position is accountable for customer service during shift and making accounting decisions consistent with Casino Operations standards, policies, and procedures. The role involves assisting in planning, leadership, organizing, and follow-ups in office procedures, vendor invoicing, computer data entries, and shortage controls. The Assistant Manager is expected to set a proper example for co-workers in terms of professionalism, attitude, and teamwork in customer service and casino operations. All assistant managers are expected to be trained in all areas to cover in the absence of the manager. Assistants need to know how to perform the duties of a manager such as payroll, inventories, scheduling, issuing counseling reports, retrains, and machine repairs.
