About The Position

The Casino Accountant is responsible for daily revenue audits, associated accounting entries, and gaming reports for slots, table games, cash desk, and arcade. This position also handles monthly reconciliations and reports in Excel, tax reporting associated with gaming, and assists with the coordination of the Enterprise record retention and office supplies programs. Responsibilities include maintaining files and records consistent with the Enterprise record retention program and maintaining required subsidiary ledgers. The role requires the ability to apply training to use gaming application software for data extraction and interpretation. Additional responsibilities and projects may be assigned by the CFO, and maintaining Title 31 Compliance accurately is crucial. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be age 21 or older.
  • Must qualify for a Tribal Key Gaming License.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Four-year accounting or business degree required.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (both oral and written) in the primary language used in the workplace.
  • Computer literate with a strong knowledge of Excel spreadsheet software.
  • Proficiency in 10-key by touch and data entry skills with speed and accuracy.
  • Visual acuity.
  • Finger dexterity.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to sit for long periods.
  • Ability to reach and bend.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Casino auditing experience preferred.
  • Database experience preferred.

Responsibilities
