About The Position

The Cashier processes guest orders and payments accurately, provides courteous service, bags and carries out purchases according to Floco Foods practices, and helps maintain an orderly checkout area and smooth guest flow. The role includes maintaining cash controls, keeping the work area clean, and supporting the team and community. The position is described as part-time, with flexible schedules.

Requirements

Friendly, outgoing personality.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 15 lbs. constantly.
Ability to read and understand information and directions.
Demonstrated successful use of math skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Effective communication and guest service skills.
Ability to retrieve and push shopping carts.
Ability to bend and lift to load guests' orders into cars.

Responsibilities

Accurately process guest orders to ensure proper recording of sales.
Handle money and payment tenders accurately to ensure proper accounting of transactions.
Bag guest orders and place them in the cart or hand them to the guest, following Floco Foods carryout practices.
Work well with team members to support the community.
Maintain a clean work area.
Direct guests into checkout lanes to maintain guest flow and meet the standard of no more than two guests waiting at one lane.
Maintain cash controls and procedures to eliminate shrink.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
