About The Position

At Goodwill, store work helps fund job training, education, and employment programs in the community. The Cashier provides customer service at the register, supports sales-floor stocking and organization, maintains a clean and safe shopping environment, assists donors, and helps with donation operations and other store duties. The position starts at $15 per hour, with annual raises and production bonuses. Goodwill offers free skill-building and training programs and team member discounts. Medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement are available to full-time employees only.

Requirements

No experience required; willingness to learn and grow.
Able to follow instructions, handle physical tasks, and work in a fast-paced retail setting.

Able to stand, talk, listen, use hands, reach, walk, pull, and occasionally bend and stoop; regularly lift up to 10 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient customer service at the register by ringing sales, handling payments, bagging merchandise, and thanking customers.
Keep the sales floor stocked and organized by moving clothing from the backroom, merchandising clothing by type and color, and keeping racks tidy and rotated.
Maintain a clean, safe shopping environment, including dressing rooms and work areas.
Greet donors, accept donations, and issue receipts.
Support donation door operations and perform sorting and hanger tasks as needed.
Report safety, security, or theft concerns to store management.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.
