About The Position

Rebel Convenience Stores is hiring a part-time Cashier, also described as a Customer Service Associate, to provide friendly, efficient customer service in a fast-paced convenience store. The Cashier is the face of the store and helps keep store operations running smoothly by serving customers, maintaining the store, and completing shift duties. The stated pay is $15.00 per hour. The position requires weekend, holiday, and overnight availability.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision.
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Comfort standing for up to 8 hours.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs and climb ladders.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
Basic math and computer skills.
Authorization to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service.
Ring up sales using the POS system, including lottery, fuel, and prepaid card transactions.
Upsell promotions and help customers find what they need.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment, inside and out.
Operate and maintain coffee, fountain drink, and hot food machines.
Restock and rotate merchandise using the FIFO method.
Follow safety and loss prevention procedures.
Assist customers with pumps, the car wash, or the air hose as needed.
Accurately handle cash, credit cards, and safe deposits.
Follow laws governing age-restricted sales, including alcohol, tobacco, and lottery sales.
Complete required training and shift duties.
